Visited the Barnstaple branch for an appointment with Geraldine. Approximately 7 months ago, Geraldine had changed my prescription to cover the double vision I was getting in my left eye. Unfortunately, the double vision had returned. I had all the tests and photos taken by confident team members then Geraldine carried out intensive testing. Referred me to the eye clinic at the hospital. I attended the hospital appointments which came through very quickly and am feeling very confident and not so fearful now. A very big thank you to Geraldine and all team members.

Requested an urgent appointment based on previous advice on my last visit by the optician. Informed they do not offer urgent appointments. Found the person to be unfriendly and unwilling to listen, just talking over me

Mix up with appointments 3 times in a row, totally fed up. We have been with specsavers for many years and Jon the optician is amazing but cannot put up with this anymore. They have lost our custom completely, after arriving again for an appointment that wasn't there, this appointment was made by the supervisor, he tried to blame us instead of trying to sort it out. Put in a complaint to head office and haven't heard a thing. Loyalty means nothing these days.

10 minutes late and being sent away in a really unfriendly manner. The appointment is supposed to take 25 minutes but I know exactly what I need from my German prescription. It would have taken 5 minutes. Especially since the prescription for glasses is already on file. But there is no exception from the rule. Having a 40 minutes drive this is just unacceptable. Never again!
